Personal experience? So far, Akismet has been good to me; ever since I allowed commenting on all my posts, it has caught all spam. I'm not a big fan of Akismet at all, and I've always been surprised by teh choice of the wordpress.org folks to go that way. Heartily recommend sk2, as I've had one spam make it through since installing months ago. My vote is for Spam Karma 2.
